Herbert is responsible for various asset management functions of ARE’s investments, including overseeing all construction, leasing and property management programs. He has over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector.

Prior to ARE, Herbert was Head of Asset Management at Ting Ho Development, the real estate arm of renowned conglomerate Ting Hsin Group. Prior to that, Herbert held asset management leadership roles at Fosun and Van Shun Chong Holdings. Before that, he worked at DTZ and JLL. Herbert holds a M.S. in Surveying from the University of Hong Kong and a B.S. from Indiana University. He is a professional member and assessor of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
