Joint venture partnership with logistics warehouse developer Yupei to acquire land, develop and lease-up a portfolio of 17 logistics warehouses totaling 1.7 million sqm GFA in Beijing, Kunshan, Jiaxing, Nantong, Zhaoqing, Tianjin, Suzhou, Shenyang, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Harbin, Changchun, Hefei, Chuzhou and Wuhu. Our investment helped Yupei gain access to additional institutional capital and expand its portfolio eight-fold during our investment period. Yupei completed its IPO in Hong Kong in 2016 as China Logistics Property Holdings (1589.HK), at which our interests in the warehouses were converted into cash and approximately 10% stake in the listco.
